BeLeaf Medical Eliminates Cannabis Waste Hauling with Power Knot LCD-300 Biodigester

FREMONT, Calif., Nov. 3, 2026 — Power Knot LLC, the market leader for on site organic waste management solutions, announced today that BeLeaf Medical has installed an LCD-300 biodigester at its cultivation facility in Earth City, Missouri. Since September 2026, the LCD biodigester has eliminated BeLeaf's twice-weekly green waste hauling, on-site waste storage, and bulking materials.

Missouri rule 19 CSR 30-95 requires cannabis operators to render plant waste unusable and unrecognizable. BeLeaf previously ground about 4,000 lb (1,800 kg) of leaves, stems, and stalks each month, mixed it with straw, coco coir, or cardboard, and stored it for a licensed hauler.

The LCD biodigester uses natural aerobic digestion to turn plant waste into a liquid that is safely discharged to drain. The process renders waste unrecognizable without bulking material, and the state approved it as a compliant disposal method.
